Call for Papers now open for 14th ITI Symposium

Dresden/Germany, 20 April 2011 – ITI, one of the leading software and engineering companies for system simulation, invites customers, partner and developer from research and industry to submit proposals for the 14th ITI Symposium on the subjects of system simulation and the use of SimulationX, the standard tool for modeling, simulation and evaluation of modern, technical systems. The three-day user congress is to be held from November, 29th to December 1st, 2011 at the International Congress Center in Dresden. Amongst others this year’s industry focus is on power and environment engineering, safety and reliability as well as automotive engineering. Until May, 25th, 2011 abstracts in English and German language can be submitted.

 

Already since 1996 ITI has been hosting the annual user meeting. For engineers and scientists the ITI Symposium worldwide has gained a reputation as being the ideal meeting place for exchanging solutions, and answering individual questions in connection with virtual engineering. Therewith top-class user speeches from industry and research, inspiring discussions and an accompanying exhibition will be the focus of the event. The lectures will be held on November, 30th to December, 1st, 2011. As last year a Tutorial Day will open the ITI Symposium. Participants will get guidance for an efficient use of the software and an insight into practical experiences with the tool.

 

User and prospects are required to send their abstracts until May, 25th, 2011 (2 DIN A4 pages, font size 11 and specifying authors and company information) in German or English language via email to symposium@itisim.com. For the symposium proposals from the fields of

  • Power transmission, electrical engineering/Electronics
  • Mechatronics, automation
  • Power and environment engineering
  • Fluid power and thermodynamics
  • Aerospace
  • Medical engineering, micromechanics

 

with the following focuses are welcome:

  • Modelica, modeling methods
  • Efficient algorithms and processes
  • Structure and system analysis
  • Tool and model integration, post-processing
  • Real-time application and HiL
  • Safety and reliability



A jury of experts will select the best submitted abstracts for the ITI Symposium. These papers will be published in the conference proceedings. The conference will be held in English and German language.
